Posting from my iPod Touch
I will be spending some time in more than one hospital in the near future, probably, so I’ve downloaded the WordPress app on my iPod and upgraded this blog to the latest version.
This is a test post to see (1) if I can post to my blog from my iPod, and (2) learn what limitations and workarounds will be required.
Upgrading to the latest version was a snap, and it’s looking like this app will be easy to use, too.
I can’t do all the things I can do from a browser, but it looks like I can do all the tasks necessary to manage posts, pages, and comments.
All in all, this looks like it’s going to be handy.
All the best,
JD
I will be posting to this blog infrequently for awhile
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted here, but this blog is not dead — and neither am I.
For the last two months, I’ve had serious health issues and I’ve been concentrating on getting back on my feet. I’m better in some ways and worse in others. I’m in the process of fighting several cancers and I fully intend to kick their butts and get healthier, no matter what some doctors may tell me. We’ll see who’s right, over time.
When I feel up to it, I’m going to continue answering the questions from Think and Grow Rich and I’ll be posting other things to this blog.
However, since I’m not strong enough to continue running my marketing business, I’ll focus more on personal thoughts and issues rather than business. If that’s not what you want to read, now would be a good time to unsubscribe.
I’m going to cancel my Aweber.com account, and if that is how you’ve subscribed to this blog, you may want to use a feedreader, instead.
For the foreseeable future, I’m going to concentrate on kicking these cancers’ butts and spending more quality time with friends and family in the real world.
I still want to share time with my online friends, but I’ll probably be doing most of that on my facebook account at facebook.com/johndilbeck.
Thanks for reading and commenting.
You’ll see most of my websites, blogs, and fora disappearing off the Internet over the next few weeks, as I have the energy to delete them.
Online marketing has been a wild ride, but now it’s time for something else. I don’t know exactly what, but there’s always something.
All the best,
JD
