Beyond that, I've had people who I've admired at times that got me through things when I needed a boost. One was Muhammad Ali, who helped me get through the first couple of years of college. Another is Michael Jackson, who always seemed to be releasing a new song or album when I was in a down period. At one point Jesse Jackson used to do it for me, but those days are long gone. These days it's not a person, but a movie, The Secret, and I watch it whenever I need a boost.
