Good morning, Anna.

I'm pretty much a loner, too, but I also enjoy interacting with people.

I think one of the keys is to find the right group of people who are interested in the same things you are. That makes it much more interesting and fun to be around them. Whether it's a group of hundreds or just two or three isn't as important as them being interested in the same things you are.

Act on your dream!

Oddly enough, now that I think of it, I tend to avoid interactions with people in general. How can I change this?

Hi John,

You have to remember, I'm coming from the place where I didn't read the book, so I might miss some of the nuances of the questions.

Good evening, Mitch.

In the context of what Napoleon Hill wrote in Law of Success and ten years later in Think and Grow Rich, I don't think he was talking about the second one you mention - avoiding neighborhoods, etc.

I think he meant avoiding a particular person.

In the past, I know how much negative energy I put into avoiding a couple of particular people. It can be distracting and draining.

I think we all would rather go where we feel comfortable, but, sometimes, we need to stretch out a bit and get out of our comfort zone when we recognize that it is important to our personal growth.

I agree. It doesn't make any sense to go looking for trouble.

Act on your dream!

It's an interesting question, and like you, I have to answer it in more than one way.

In general, no, I don't avoid anyone. I go about my business and do my thing.

In another, I tend to not go places where I think I might feel uncomfortable. I think we all do that; we don't like bad neighborhoods, nor neighborhoods where we know that being there is going to cause us grief.

But is the second one avoiding anyone in particular? I don't think so. If I saw those same people in another setting, I'd be cool. Just doesn't make sense to go looking for trouble, right?
