Good evening, Mitch.

That's the kind of computer problem that just drives me crazy. I can't stand it when a computer doesn't do what it's supposed to do.

I'm happy to hear it's working well, now.

Act on your dream!

I don't have a Mac, John, but man, do I know about computer problems! Just a couple of days ago I went to tackle my wife's computer, which has been running horribly.

After realizing there was no virus issue or malware/spyware issue, I decided it had to be the registry. I downloaded a recommended registry editor by PC World and ran that bad boy. It found over 2,100 bad entries; ouch! I told it to fix them all, then decided to reboot my wife's computer; nothing.

By that, the monitor came on, but the sucker wouldn't reboot. I kept trying for about five minutes, then determined it was time to take it apart to give it a better look. I did that, tried to boot again, and, for some reason, it finally worked. And it's running faster than ever; what the hey?

Sometimes we just don't know why something does what it does, but as long as it works, I personally don't care. :-)

Good morning, Susan.

I agree with you. Great customer service is one of the best ways to differentiate yourself from your competition and helps keep loyal customers.

I know others who would have told me to ship them the computer and it would have cost wasted time and money.

Bob really got nothing from helping me over the phone, but he reinforced his value to me and I'm happy to tell others about him.

Five minutes on the phone and taking the time to help me solve a big problem isn't much of an investment, but it shows that he cares for his customers.

That's why I'm happy to give him my highest personal recommendation, and I'm careful about doing that.

I'll certainly buy my next computer from him. It looks like I'm going to need a Mac laptop later this year.

Thanks for your comment, Susan.

I'm not a Mac user but what struck me about the piece is the customer service of Bob Nunn. I completely understand why you would purchase from him from now on. If you sell a product or a service, that additional care will go a long way to customer retention.
